The Enduro is happening Wednesday, April 17. If you are not familiar with this one, come check it out. 35 teams of two people will ski as many runs as they can from Pali Lift between 7 AM and 5 PM. Yes, 10 hours of skiing Pali. Most participants are out having fun, enjoying a great day with friends and family on the mountain. There are usually a handful of teams being ultra competitive to see who can ski the most. The record is 72 Pali Runs in a 10 hour period.
Once the skiing is done, we will be throwing a big party from 5 - 8 PM in the A-Frame including a delicious and hearty dinner and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will go to Jennifer Drake-Oliver, her husband Ian, and her two year old daughter, Evelyn. Jen works in our HR department and is one of those key behind the scenes people that keep A-Basin rolling. In addition to being one of the coolest people at the ski area, she is in the midst of nasty battle with a brain tumor. So come on up, ski or watch the Enduro, grab some dinner, have some fun, and help Jen and her family through this tough time.
