CJ has been working with brides for more than 8 years and during that time, she began to see how many times brides would love the look of the top half of a dress, but didn't like the skirt, or vice versa. Alternately, they wanted certain design elements from various dresses and couldn't find exactly what they were looking for. CJ also began to realize the trend of brides wearing one gown for their ceremony and changing into a different look for the reception. With those ideas in mind, Erin Grey Couture was born.
CJ envisioned a collection that offered brides options, whether they wanted to wear one look for the ceremony, then wear the top of their gown and change into a short skirt to make it more fun and comfortable for the reception and departure, or wear the bottom of their gown and change into a sweater or another top for a chic, modern look. It's a brilliant way to create multiple styles. If you like the idea of wearing one dress, you can also create your ideal gown and have it made into one custom piece.
