What does one do with left over Easter[Jelly Beans]?
Make a [MARTINI], of course!
I had 2 bags of organic jelly beans (sweetened with agave, vegan...mmm) left over. What to do...what do to...
"Ah Ha!" she screamed as she rose from her seat.." A Wine a bit Wednesday!".

First, let's make the main ingredient in this concoction..the Jelly Bean Vodka:
  • 1 cup of vodka + 1/2 cup of jelly beans
  • mix together in glass jar and let sit for 48 hours.
  • strain…should make about 8-9 or so ounces.
*You can use mixed colors, but I would recommend sticking to one or 2 colors...3+ colors makes a big ol' hot mess.
 ..................................

Now that we have the yummy jelly bean vodka…let's make the martini:
  • 1 ounce JB vodka
  • 3 ounces Champagne/Sparkling wine  (I used Domaine St. Michelle Brut but for a sweeter treat, use a Spumante or even a Moscato)
  • Garnish with a lemon…or hey, a left over peep!

[Delicious. Sweet. Easter all year long!]
