Homemade Doggie Treats
Instead of buying a pet chain's or grocery store brand treats for your pets, why not make them yourself! You know exactly what your pooch is eating, no preservatives, and they are delish! (well, i imagine anyway...)
Ingredients:
- Two 15 oz. cans of organic mashed pure pumpkin
- 3/4 cup cream of wheat (or rice cereal if wheat-sensitive)
- 3/4 cup Oatmeal
- 1/3 cup applesauce
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Mix ingredients together in a bowl and spread onto cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until firm. When slightly cooled, cut with a bone or any fun cookie cutters! You can also use a pour into mini cupcake pan, or just use a teaspoon to pour little drops onto the sheet.
