We’re so excited to introduce you to Ben and Dickie, the brother-sister duo who own and operate Stonegate Event Rentals in Charlottesville, VA, specializing in one-of-a-kind furniture, custom pieces and other stylistic detail items.

Dickie is an event planner and always realized that there was a need for unique rental items and décor pieces, whether for a special event, engagement or styled photo shoot. When she and her brother attended a wedding in North Carolina, the idea for Stonegate Event Rentals blossomed. “We were at a cousin’s wedding in Cashiers, NC and Dickie made a comment about the décor that really set the stage for the wonderful evening we were all taking part in," says Ben. "That planted the seed and by the time we made the drive home to Charlottesville, we were so excited! We started Stonegate Event Rentals shortly thereafter."

“We wanted to offer items that couples could rent to customize their wedding," Dickie continues, "without having to scour a million and one stores to find it all!”

Stonegate Event Rentals is stocked with everything you need to style your event, from exquisite details such as vintage fans and patina’d pedestals to large furniture like farmhouse tables, distressed character chairs and antique church pews.
