Emily and her fiance knew they wanted a beautiful, natural Charleston setting, and, remembering a styled inspiration photo shoot at Fenwick Hall that WU recently featured with Easton Events, it seemed like the perfect choice for their styled engagement session. Instead of an everyday e-sesh, they wanted to have fun with the photos and incorporate some lovely, yet meaningful details.
They assembled a group of amazing vendors and the shoot just came together organically. They included some personal touches from home, like their own mixed china - pieces passed down recently from her fiance's mom and grandmother. Anne Bowen of Stems created a gorgeous oversized bouquet, pulling colors from the vibrant florals in their china and Emily wore jewelry from Bissell & Blaise, a jewelry line created by two of her good friends (and bridesmaids).
"We shot on one of the hottest days this summer in Charleston, but Eric is such an amazing photographer and Lora works miracles with hair and make-up, so you could hardly tell," says Emily. "It really was an unforgettable experience working with a group of vendors I've known and admired through Weddings Unveiled over the years."
