Ashley and Rob easily settled on spectacular Bluemont Vineyard, envisioning a rustic, yet elegant party with the feel of a destination wedding. In-season dahlias created vibrant floral centerpices in birch vases, while the evening's menu featured local and seasonal fare. The event was packed with a host of inspired DIY details handmade by the bride and groom's families, including cookie bar selections homemade by Rob's mother. The cookie buffet is a Pittsburgh tradition brought to the wedding by Rob's family that also doubled as sweet take-home favors. Ashley's mother and grandmother made the ceremony signs, ribbon wands, the chalkboard bar menu, escort card frames and a variety of other decor.
We especially love Ashley's beautiful birdcage veil and the brilliant red hue of her pretty bridesmaid dresses. Enjoy!
