"I wanted something subtle and organic that would enhance the wild, romantic garden setting," says Marisa. Chandeliers were hung with cascades of honeysuckle, hydragea and roses, while centerpieces featured fresh cut flowers in a mixture of glass bottles, antique blue Ball jars and ceramic and pewter pitchers. Lanterns and pillar candles added a warm glow and dinner featured a selection of Southern fare, including fried green tomatoes and BBQ. Marisa and Neal included many of their friends' first dance songs in the evening's music and danced their own first dance to Swept Away by the Avett Brothers, who hail from the Carolinas. Enjoy!
